phpWebSite Community Wiki

The phpWebSite Community Wiki is an integral part of the phpWebSite Community Development Project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpwebsite-comm/), and was created to allow a central location for the development of documentation for the phpWebSite (http://phpwebsite.appstate.edu/) CMS.

This is Version 1.x.x of the phpWebSite Community Wiki. Please make sure that you are reading the correct documentation for your release.

Documentation

en User Guide: This section is for the typical day-to-day user of the software. It contains information on how to use many of the modules included in a typical installation. It also contains a en Theme Guide for the more adventurous user who wants to customize the appearance of his or her web site. The instructions assume little or no technical expertise -- any user familiar with a web browser should be at home here. They also assume that you have a working copy of en phpWebSite installed and access to the modules covered. The en User Guide also provides some answers to the question, en Will phpWebSite work for me?

en Installation Guide: Contains information on how to install phpWebSite. The reader is assumed to possess basic systems administration skills. A solid understanding of the relevant operating system, database and web server is required. A working knowledge of PHP is helpful, but not essential.
