The phpWebSite Community Wiki is an integral part of the phpWebSite Community Development Project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpwebsite-comm/), and was created to allow a central location for the development of documentation for the phpWebSite (http://phpwebsite.appstate.edu/) CMS.

 Fallout 2.0 a.k.a release 1.0.0 icon file
The next generation of phpWebSite is in the lab. The Fallout 2.0 also known as release 1.x.x documentation can be found on the new Main Page. Please consider joining the phpWebSite Community in developing the next release. There are several areas that need assistance:

  • One area of assistance of course would be the creation of documentation for the next release. This does not require programming skills.
  • Another area of project assistance is developing program documentation in the form of phpdoc comments.
  • Another area of project assistance is writing test cases for the new code which in turn may generate additional phpdoc comments. Some sample phpunit URLS php phppatterns.com: eXtreme programming testing article (http://www.phppatterns.com/docs/develop/unit_testing_in_php), phpBuilder.com: Debugging PHP article (http://www.phpbuilder.com/columns/oier20010406.php3), php assert() method (http://us3.php.net/assert), and the phpUnit code site (http://www.ontosys.com/phiki/PhpUnit).
  • Another area of project assistance is providing additional programming assistance.
  • Don't forget that there is always room for general roustabouts too.
